Scala Developer | €80,000 - €90,000 | Remote - Europe | Permanent

This engineering team is within the gaming space, planning to revolutionise the industry with a functional approach. They are providing an opportunity to learn/enhance skills using the popular ZIO functional library and join their existing team of functional programmers.
The company is developing cutting edge games for consumers to love and enjoy, all from the ground up. This company are searching for Scala engineers of all levels to join the development team and express ideologies and share experiences.
Responsibilities
- Ensure code is clean and to a high standard
- Provide input into technical architecture
- Attending senior meetings regarding internal roadmap reviews
- Finding solutions to technical problems
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience using the Scala programming language
- Experience using functional libraries in professional development tech stack
- Have previous experience with ZIO or a passion to learn and integrate into working stack
- Must be proficient in building microservices using Akka and Play framework
- Expertise in cloud environments and supporting containers, such as AWS and Kubernetes
