Job Description
A leading entertainment company is looking to hire Scala Developers of all levels. Joining the subscription streaming part of the business their aim is to improve and enhance the customers viewing experience across all applications and platforms.
The role:
- Support and maintain the live product
- Identify and solve production issues
- Participate and lead stand-up meetings
- Code reviews leading technical direction and change of tools where needed
- Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure criteria are hit
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years Scala experience
- Experience with some of the following: Akka, Akka-http, Akka-streams, Play, Cats, Spark Cassandra, AWS, GCP, Kafka, Kubernetes
- RESTful API’s (desirable not required)
- Strong communication skills
