Job Description
Role: Senior Scala Developer
Location: Hybrid in Malaga, Spain
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: €75-90k
3 stage interview process.
Signify Technology's clients are a trusted client of ours in the anti Fraud industry who are looking to expand their engineering team into Spain, where they are now looking for an experienced Scala developer to join the team 1-2 days per week in Malaga on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- You'll be a part of their R&D departments, where you'll be primarily focussing on enhancing their internal platform. This will be instrumental in aiding their clients in resolving business challenges (including fraud, financial misconduct...)
- Make use of functional and strongly typed programming, such as Cats, Shapeless, Akka and Monix, whilst utilising event sourcing like CQRS.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial Scala experience - 3+ years
- Experience with type-level and Lightbend technologies (Cats, Monix, Akka)
- Container experience (Docker and Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud technologies (ideally GCP)
- Must be based in Spain already
