* Mid-level Scala Developer * Cats Effects, Kubernetes, AWS, Postgres * Up to 75k * Relocation opportunity to Berlin *

You'll design, develop, and maintain the API framework and work among a team of skilled Engineers, giving you the opportunity to leverage off their expertise. This opportunity allows you to relocate to Berlin!

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop highly scalable systems in which you are in in command of the whole development process
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other engineers to turn business requirements into technological designs that are the best match for the situation
  • Own service operating responsibilities, which include monitoring and maintaining them in good working order
  • Contribute to the department's and company's tech communities; play an active role in onboarding new team members and mentoring junior colleagues

 

What they are looking for:

  • Commercial experience using Scala
  • Understanding of distributed software design concepts and asynchronous service-to-service communication
  • Strong communication skills in English
