Job Description
Role: Senior Scala Developer
Salary: Up to €85,000 (B2B)
Location: Fully Remote in Europe
Signify Technology are working with a scaling iGaming company who are currently hiring for a skilled functional Scala developer to work on their exciting new platform following a successful large investment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Scala microservices using functional programming with Cats-Effect.
- Make architectural decisions to improve product performance and maintainability.
- Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.
- Utilize AWS services for cloud-based deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to code reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficient in Scala, functional programming with the typelevel stack or ZIO
- Experience in microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS.
- Familiarity with messaging systems (AMQP/RabbitMQ, Kafka/Kinesis).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
