Job Summary: As a PHP Contract Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust PHP applications, primarily using Laravel framework. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Kubernetes for container orchestration. This is a remote role with the option to work from our office in the Netherlands.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in PHP development, with a deep understanding of the Laravel framework.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Solid knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of database systems, preferably MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
