Job Description
Title: Lead SRE
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract Type - Permanent
Salary: Up to £130k/year + benefits and bonus
Signify are working with a client in the legal / financial sector who are looking to further expand their UK-based engineering team. For this position, they're looking for a Lead SRE to join their team for their inhouse platform. You'll be joining a fast-paced environment build around a start-up culture.
Experience:
- Strong experience with cloud-native infrastructures including Kubernetes, Docker and Helm - experience with Kubernetes is a must.
- Experience with cloud solutions (ideally Azure).
- Experienced in DevOps background - 5+ years ideally.
- 1-2+ years experience in leading positions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable presenting technical information.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design and maintain the IAAC components of their application.
- Drive strong software practices around the infrastructure-as-code codebase including promoting reusability and testability of infrastructure
- Participating in the design and development of new features and products, collaborating closely with the Product team and the wider technology team to build quick prototypes to test new solutions and ideas.
