Role  Lead Scala Engineer

Salary - £130,000

Location – Remote

Tech – Scala, Kotlin, NoSQL Databases

Day to day you will be developing innovative products which are vital in managing international funds and investments and detecting and preventing financial fraud; these aspects of the role will coincide with your responsibility to mentor, review and develop the careers of existing team members

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in project scoping, planning, design, and execution
• Create and maintain new release applications
• Use your knowledge of software engineering concepts to implement tested, reusable, and modular code
• Build new features on applications whilst working on new data visualisation
• Apply knowledge of the business goals to derive innovative solutions for the project, team, and wider group
• Be an active learner who is always up for expanding knowledge
• Have passion for your craft
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Solid understanding on modular design and single responsibility principle
