Job Title: Lead Golang Developer
Location: London, UK (on-site 2-3 days per week)
Contract: Permanent
Our client is a leading e-commerce company that is rapidly expanding and is seeking a highly skilled Lead Golang Developer to join their team. As a Lead Golang Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10-15 developers and driving the development of the company's core systems using Go, as well as integrating with Javascript and React-based front-ends.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 developers
- Develop and maintain the company's core systems using Go
- Work closely with the product team to understand and prioritize business requirements
- Good understanding of frontend technologies
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
- Identify and address performance issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong experience with Go programming language
- Previous experience leading a team of developers
- Good understanding of Cloud Technologies
- Experience integrating with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript and React
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Good understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Experience with databases and database design
- Good understanding of DevOps principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to work on-site in London 2-3 days per week
