Head of Compliance

Job Description

​Responsibilities

• Review and negotiation of contracts directly with clients, contractors and suppliers

• Writing of standardised contractual documentation (service agreement, NDA, SOW, flow down appendices, etc.)

• Contractor onboarding across EMEA and North America

• Relationship management of key compliance suppliers (EOR, PEO, UK Umbrellas)

• Ownership and monitoring of company insurances, ensuring continuously sufficient with changing needs and growth of the business

• Senior stakeholder management, ensuring SMT supporting compliance incentives

• Occasional training in partnership with L&D to educate consultant community

• Persistent process improvement to increase productivity across the business, through the use of new tools, systems and automation

• First line dispute resolution before seeking external legal support

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years working in a fully compliance or legal position

• Minimum of 2 years working within the recruitment sector

• Expert knowledge of contractual language and construction of legally binding documentation

• Expert knowledge of the Conduct Regs

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Well versed in various contractor engagement methods (PSC, Umbrella, EOR, W2, 1099, C2C, Sole Trader)

Desired Experience

• Prior experience using systems such as; Bullhorn, TSP, Access Screening, DocuSign

• Previous experience working as a recruitment consultant

• Previous experience working within a Finance team
