Position Overview:

They are looking for a skilled Scala Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our development team, contributing to the design and implementation of innovative solutions. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Scala, Cats, Akka, and various cloud services to drive our products forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications in Scala.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices.
• Utilize Akka to build highly concurrent and fault-tolerant systems.
• Integrate with cloud services to ensure scalable and reliable applications.
• Work within a product-focused environment, contributing to the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Scala programming language.
• Proficiency with Cats and Akka.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Commitment to writing clean, well-documented code and implementing thorough testing.
• Previous experience in a product-oriented development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team.
