About the company
My client is a global, name-brand organization in the energy space who’s turning their attention to sustainable green energy initiatives to reduce the world’s reliance on fossil fuel.
Tech Stack: Java, Golang, JavaScript, Azure/AWS/GCP
Location: Hybrid in Houston, TX
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 base salary, plus bonus & public equity
About the role
- Oversee logic, databases, and authentications, and configurations
- Suggest new tech and strategies to reduce cost to increase efficiency and reliability
- Ensure high performance of requests sent from the front end
- Build prototypes and products that meet requirements
- Maintain central database
About you
- Passionate about meaningful work and greenfield projects
- Excited to make a positive impact through technology
- 3+ years of professional experience with Java, Golang, or another modern backend programming language
- 3+ years of professional experience with Angular, React, Ember, or another JavaScript frontend technology
- Understanding of microservice architecture and REST services
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
