Job Description
Our client, a cybersecurity company backed by the top investment firms, is seeking talented Data Engineers to join their team in designing and implementing systems for complex data sets.
OPEN TO USA AND CANADIAN CITIZENS.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain stability and optimize performance of the data platform
- Design systems that deliver data from a large array of sources with multi-levels of complexity and scale
- Automate infrastructure that supports the data pipeline while improving CI/CD pipelines
- Closely collaborate with multiple teams, product managers, and leaders
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in data pipeline software development
- Extensive experience with Scala (preferable), Java, Go, or Python
- Active use of Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, Storm, Databricks toolkit
- Proven knowledge of DNS, networking
- Dataflow orchestration with Google Cloud Flow, Airflow, etc a PLUS
- AWS services experience (EMR, S3, Redshift) a PLUS
- BS in Computer Science or related field
