Data Architect/Engineer

Ireland, Remote/Hybrid

Up to €90k base + bonuses

Seeking passionate Data Analytics Engineers to drive cutting-edge Modern Data Stack [Snowflake, DBT, Monte Carlo, Segment, Looker, etc]. You'll thrive on data modelling, perfect numbers, and insightful analysis. Be the driving force in delivering crucial data to decision-makers and analysts across diverse businesses. As a vital team member, you'll support BI analysts and stakeholders, design end-to-end analytics solutions, and streamline reporting functions with automation.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with BI analysts and stakeholders for scalable solutions.
• Design and build end-to-end analytics solutions with speed and precision.
• Handle large datasets adeptly in relational and "big" data stores.
• Streamline and automate ad-hoc and standardized reporting functions.
• Build efficient data models and transformations using DBT.
• Provide operational support for data and analytics engineering infrastructure.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or BI Engineer.
• Expertise in data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Hands-on DBT experience, including SQL optimization and windowing functions.
• Strong grasp of data access patterns and performance for relational and dimensional models.
• Proficiency in Python, Java/Scala, or other JVM languages.
• AWS experience with IAM, DynamoDB, Lambda, etc.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.

Bonus points for:

• Domain experience in Marketing, CRM, Customer Analytics.
• Looker and LookML expertise for building dashboards and modeling data.
• Familiarity with CDP / Reverse ETL (Segment, Hightouch, etc).
• Experience with Cloud Data Warehousing technology like Snowflake.
