Job Description
Title: Data Engineer/DeveloperLocation: Italy (Remote)
Type of contract: Freelance
Length: 12 months extendable
Rates: Competitive
Signify Technology are working with a large marketplace brand varying across numerous industries and are looking to grow their Italy -based engineering team. They're looking for experienced engineers with a strong background in data engineering to join the team ASAP on an initial 12-month contract that is likely to be extended further paying competitive daily rates.
Requirements:
- Experience with any language (Scala, Python, Java...)
- Strong background in data engineering (Spark, Hadoop etc.)
- Exposure to Kafka and Kafka Streams
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to work as a freelancer in Italy without requiring VISA
- Strong English communication skills
Desirable:
- Understanding of software development
- Container experience with Docker / Kubernetes
