Signify Technology are currently working with a global E-commerce company, based in the heart of London, looking for a Senior Backend (Scala) Engineer for a minimum 6 month contract - up to £550 per day

Our client is using machine learning on customer behaviour, events and trends to process large amounts of data and develop technical solutions to send accurate marketing content to right platforms at the right time.

You will be helping to build highly scalable real time platforms, working primarily with Scala on the backend stack. 

If you have experience with the following I would love to hear from you;

- Commercial experience in Backend Scala Development

- Experience in a CI / CD environment (Jenkins, Git, Maven)

- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies / TDD / BDD (Scrum, Kanban)

- Kafka, Cassandra

- Experience working in a cross-functional team

- Preferably a Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Engineering or equivalent
