They use a cutting-edge algorithm which processes trillions of data points to help achieve the award-winning user experience. Their product has been used to book nearly 200 million trips worldwide.

Our client has been valued at over $3 billion which some of the leading financial investors. After a difficult time during the pandemic, their 2021’s revenue growth had exceeded 300%. With great progress, they are expected to IPO in the near future.

100% remote in Canada

Must be eligible to work in the specified locations

Multiple positions open – mid to lead level

Responsibilities:

  • Make architectural decisions on core backend systems
  • Collaborate with like-minded individuals
  • Build a robust infrastructure that will help support the revenue
  • Build features in an agile way using technologies such as Scala, Kafka, HBase, SQL and many more

Ideal candidate will:

  • Have had experience working with cross-functionals teams and working closely with highly skilled specialists across the business
  • Excelled in backend engineering positions and highly scaled user experiences
  • Experience with Scala or Java or any modern backend language like Python, Ruby, Clojure, Haskell
  • Passion for writing quality and testable code that will perform
  • Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
  • Good communicators
  • Experience with Restful API's
  • Enthusiastic team players
