Hybrid: Houston, TX
Salary: 120k – 150k
Additional pay: bonus (10-20%) + equity (90k - 140k)

Hiring for a Backend Engineer to develop backend services and frontend web interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional work experience
- Strong knowledge of Python, Golang, or Scala
- Familiarity with C++
- Understanding of microservice architecture and REST services
- Containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud solutions- prefer Azure, but open to AWS or GCP
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Responsibilities:
- Oversee logic, databases, and authentications, and configurations
- Suggest new tech and strategies to reduce cost to increase efficiency and reliability
- Ensure high performance of requests sent from the front end
- Build prototypes and products that meet requirements
- Maintain central database
