Backend Engineer

Job Description

I am currently looking for a Backend Engineer / Technology Leader. In this position you will be responsible for the development and growth of the company's technology stack and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating and building proof of concepts to justify technical decisions

• Leading and growing the development team

• Building and documenting public APIs for the company's partners

• Improving system capabilities such as monitoring and alerting

• Improving infrastructure capabilities such as cloud environments and automated testing

• Building and maintaining data pipelines and synchronizing with other systems

• Developing the company's data and systems architecture

• Adopting event-driven architecture

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer

• 2+ years of experience writing Scala production code

• Strong DevOps experience

• Event-driven programming experience

• Servant leadership experience

Salesforce integration/automation, RPA, and data engineering experience is a plus.
