AWS Architect

Job Description

Job Summary: We are a leading consultancy in search of a highly skilled and experienced Contractor AWS Cloud Platform Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud architectures for our key clients' greenfield projects. Your expertise in AWS services, adherence to best practices, TOGAF certification, and proficiency in DevOps tools will be crucial for success.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient AWS cloud architectures.
2. Deploy and manage AWS services while ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
3. Migrate and integrate on-premises systems to the AWS cloud seamlessly.
4. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability of cloud infrastructure.
5. Collaborate with development teams to foster knowledge sharing and ensure effective communication.
6. Utilize TOGAF principles and practices to guide architectural design decisions.
7. Apply DevOps tools and practices to automate processes and streamline deployment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Extensive experience as an AWS Cloud Platform Architect.
3. Strong knowledge of AWS services, security measures, and networking concepts.
4. Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
5. TOGAF certification.
6. Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
