Scala in the City # 2

Scala in the City will be hosting at Thoughtworks on Wednesday 21st March. There will also be loads of swag so ensure you bring a bag.

6:30 pm: Doors open, Registration, Drinks & nibbles

7.00 pm: First talk- Andreas Koestler, Senior Software Engineer at Property Partner - Type classes- A principled approach

7.20 pm: Second talk- Christopher Batey, Senior Engineer at Lightbend - A tour of Akka Typed

7.40pm: Third talk- Lance Paine, Scala Software Consultant at Barclays Wealth - The return of the monolith

8.00 pm: Food, Drinks & laughter

9 pm: Finish up at the local pub
