Robert Cooper

​Hey, I’m Robbie,

Here at Signify I am the Global L&D Director. Put simply, my role here is to oversee the growth and development of every employee across the business. We take learning and development very seriously and so my department continues to build support in as many formats as possible, to match the growing demands of the business.

I have a background including Regional Leadership in the retail banking sector, alongside Regional Sales in the automotive industry, but in recent years my attention turned to the recruitment and staffing industry. Working for 5+ years at one of the largest IT Recruitment agencies in the world, I grew a learning and development function to provide support across the whole business globally, servicing over 3000 employees. From writing new training programmes, to developing the next leaders and top billers, my function would support in whichever form necessary to provide value to the business.

Stepping away from work I am big in to sport and music, and live a fairly social life. I play football and golf regularly as well as do my best to visit the gym when I get a chance. Alongside this, I am the Director of a music festival keeping me in touch with one of my other passions. This definitely keeps me busy enough but I do ensure I get to travel the world as much as I can too.
