Hi I’m Matt Holmes and in my role as Managing Director for Signify I am responsible for helping our business and our people unlock the potential.
My background in recruitment started in 2005 and after building a successful global recruitment company for the first 11 years I moved into the corporate PLC world. The experience of working in the PLC environment exposed me to the larger business culture, process, and approach to commercial decisions. This exposure to different businesses and models has resulted in a broad understanding of and insight into the industry and a well-balanced and forward-thinking approach to how recruitment businesses should operate in today’s market. Focussing on how to do things better and faster in an agile, tech driven way is a key foundation to my approach.
I have been incredibly lucky to have some great people to learn from in the PLC world and now I am taking the learnings from both building a company and working for a PLC to drive Signify with the rest of our people to surpass our objectives for the business.
Outside of work I’m kept pretty busy with four children and trying to maintain positivity in the face of adversity as a Man United fan!
