Matt Goddard

​Hi, I’m Matt Goddard and I’m the Head of Compliance for Signify Technology.

My role at Signify is to protect the business and its people, define our compliance processes, and also to find ways to enhance the customer experience for the candidates we place and the clients we work with.

I started in recruitment back in 2016 as Recruitment Consultant specialising in Web Development, before transitioning into an operational role. Having been a consultant for a number of years prior to finding a passion for contracts and compliance, I feel I can provide a unique perspective within my role and understand the challenges our consultants are faced with, whilst also ensuring we operate compliantly as a recruitment business.

My friends and colleagues would describe me as a “fixer”. I am a persistent problem solver and enjoy working with people to find solutions. I’m passionate about continuous improvement and process automation – constantly striving for “better”.

Outside of work, I have a young son who I absolutely love spending time with. I have two dogs, Mayo and Olive, who enjoy making parent life even more challenging! I’m a huge F1 fan, and dream of a day where McLaren can get back into the Championship battle.
