Signify is proud to say that we've achieved a lot over the last 12 months but it's all due to the support from our clients, candidates and the Scala community, thank you for helping us accomplish so many of our goals!
So we wanted to share with you, just a few, of the successes you've been part of this year...
Supporting Scala conferences and meet-ups have once again been of huge importance to us helping give back to the Scala community. Totalling over 25 events, from Scala Days celebrating 10 years of Scala to creating many more memories in Cadiz for Lambda World, we have loved every second of each conference and the team are so grateful to have had the opportunity to travel globally due to this.
Supporting conferences also means we can help youand one of our favourite ways of helping engineers develop their skills is by letting them pack their bags and sending them to the most anticipated Scala and Functional Programming events of the year. In 2019, we have allowed 26 Engineers to tick off their conference bucket list and join the likes of Martin Odersky and John De Goes, hearing about the future of Scala.
Have you attended one of our personalised Scala Workshops? Functional Scala, Scala for Beginners and Advanced Scala learning, we had it all! John De Goes was among the Scala contributors teaching passionate engineers on how to improve their coding. It was awesome to partner with incredible brands such as Sky, who wanted to give their engineering team the chance of a life-time and be taught by John De Goes personally. And for our HUGE achievement... Our first ever USA office!! This one is the star on top of the Christmas tree (cheesy but it really is). Since our Founder, Ryan Adams started the Signify Technology journey it has been in his personal and professional goals to open an office in the United States and with the outstanding success of our clients and candidates, it allowed us to open Signify Technology Group Inc. in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.
The whole Signify team are incredibly thankful for your part in our 2019 success and we are excited about what 2020 will bring. We hope you all enjoy your Christmas and New Year celebrations!
