We're back with a little list of the articles we found most interesting over the past week, so grab yourself a mug of hot chocolate or mulled wine and have a read.
Often people talk about monads as if they are some transcendental thing, so we found Sinisa Louc's blog post called 'Demystifying the Monad in Scala' with the hope that it might help us to see monads in a more tangible light.
Next up we have 'How to write a command-line application with ZIO' by Piotr Golebiewski.
And in case you were doubting Scala's ability, Adam Warski writes the article 'Why Scala?'
Ilya Kazovsky wrote the article 'How I learned to stop worrying and FP in Scala'.
We also came across this blog post, although from slightly earlier in the year we think it is very interesting: it is a 'This week in programming' article by Mike Melanson called 'On writing elegant code'
This brings us to a more recent blog 'This week in programming: AWS re:Invent for Developers' by Mike Melanson.
Happy Reading and we will be back next week with another list for you to enjoy!
