We’re so excited to announce that Scala World is back and Signify are Gold Sponsors for the second time. Jon Pretty has organised another awesome conference and we can’t wait for it to kick off.

Held from 31st August to 4th September 2019 in The Lake District, UK this conference is surrounded by beautiful scenery and you’ll be able to make the most of it. Scala World not only encompasses various talks from amazing Scala contributors but you can also attend the indoor and outdoor activities such as The Grand Hike and mountain biking, you can be sure this will be an experience of a lifetime.

How can you be in with the chance of attending?

We’re keeping it easy for you (we know you work hard enough so let’s get you to The Lake District) so all you have to do is make sure you’re registered to our website, following us on Twitter (@signify_tech), then email us at with your name and contact details. 

You will then be entered into the prize draw and the winner will be announced on 9th August 2019.

Please note that the prize for this competition is a ticket to the conference ONLY, no travel or accommodation is included. As the conference takes place from 31st August to 4th September 2019, you must be able to travel either side of these dates. 

The competition closes at 11am on the 9th of August 2019, please note the prize includes a ticket to the conference only, no travel or accommodation is included. After this date and time, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. This competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over, except employees of Signify Technology and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the judging of the competition. The prize is as stated and no cash alternative will be offered. The winner will be chosen at random and will be notified on the 9th August 2019.
