Have you got any life hacks that you swear by?
- Breakfast made easy
It’s always said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it gives your body the energy it needs to get started. However, many often don’t have time and end up missing this meal altogether so if you make a big batch of breakfast foods at the start of the week which you can just grab and go then you’re cutting out having to worry about time in the mornings. Whether that’s bulky breakfast wraps or fruity overnight oats, just get cooking in batch then you can say goodbye to hungry mornings! Take a look here at some great recipes.
- Tidy space, tidy mind
Whether you’re at work or just at home try and tidy as you go whatever you’re doing. If the space around you is kept neat and looks organised automatically your mind will feel much less cluttered making it easier for you to carry out your daily tasks. Also it means that when it comes to the end of the day you don’t have to waste time clearing up all of clutter built up from throughout the day.
- Cut down your to do list
If your task list is looking a bit overwhelming then take a step back and relook at it. Decide which tasks actually need to be done that day and create a new list just for those, that way you can work through them effectively and not feel overworked by just looking at your list. You might find you have completed your tasks quicker than you think then you can move onto the less of a priority items.
- Create a ‘cheat sheet’
Many of us may use the same snippets information throughout the day therefore create yourself a ‘cheat sheet’ where you have a handy document filled with all the information you need. This way you save yourself time and effort having to search through emails or documents looking for the correct items you need. Also means that if you’re in a rush and are asked a question you can just pull up your cheat sheet and you have the answer straightaway!
- Give yourself a helping hand and prepare for future you
When it gets to the end of the day most of us will start feeling the effects of busy hours and leave tasks for the morning but try not to do this. Even if you can complete just a few of these do it as you will thank yourself in the morning when you come in the next day and don’t have a full list of tasks to do before you can actually get started with new work.
