Would you like to attend the Typelevel Summit Berlin, which takes place on Friday the 18th of May 2018? We have one ticket up for grabs and all you need to do is email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and contact details for the chance to win this tech diversity ticket.
At Signify we are keen to help all underrepresented groups in tech so that everyone has equal opportunities available to them. Embracing this wholly, within our own team we are an equal split of men and women in the Signify office. We are lucky enough to be in a position where we can make a positive impact on the tech industry by ensuring that we are behind every underrepresented group and therefore we want to give all women in tech the chance to attend the Typelevel Summit in Berlin on behalf of Signify Technology.
This is the sixth Typelevel Summit and will take place the day after ScalaDays on Friday the 18th of May 2018. The Summits are open to all, not just current contributors to and users of the Typelevel projects and they are especially keen to encourage participation from people who are new to conference. Whilst many of the Typelevel projects use somewhat “advanced” Scala, they are a lot more approachable than many people think, and a major part of Typelevel’s mission is to make the ideas they embody much more widely accessible. This is a community conference and we strive to make it an inclusive and fulfilling event for all participants.
With talks from inspirational speakers such as Annette Bieniusa (A lecturer and senior researcher at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern), Sasha Romijn (The co-founder and CTO of a small Django development company in Amsterdam) and Jon Pretty (Scala Center Advisory Board chair, Magnolia and Contextual developer, and Scala World organizer) you won’t want to miss out.
So to be in with the chance to win just email email@example.com with your name and contact details. Good Luck!
Signify are thrilled to be Silver sponsors of Typelevel Summit Berlin.
