Santa Sprinting

Signify will become Sprinting Santas in aid of Santa In the City 2017 to raise money for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal. We'll be donning our Signify Santa hats for the first time, and participating on Wednesday 6th December 2017 by running (some sprinting, some of us crawling) 5k around the city streets of London dressed as Santa.

We’ll start in Paternoster Square, by St Paul’s Cathedral, crossing the famous Millennium Bridge, run along the South Bank, continue over Southwark Bridge, pass the Tower of London and Tower Bridge and then head through the City to the finish, back where we started in Paternoster Square. A truly iconic route is in store for us.

The whole company is getting involved after collectively agreeing on two Charity initiatives for Q4 being the donate a suit campaign, and Santa In the City 2017 5k Run. We do anything we can to support charities close to our hearts and home, and if that includes running 5k around the city like headless (breathless) chickens, then we'll do it!

The Lord Mayor’s Appeal is one of the most recognisable charities in the square mile. For many decades, the Lord Mayor’s Appeal has raised millions of pounds for the charities and good causes recommended by successive Lord Mayors, charities and causes that are close to their heart.

Fancy getting involved? It’s not too late to join us in our Santa suits for this great cause, by registering here. Alternatively, feel free to provide your unwanted suits to our ‘Donate a Suit’ campaign.
